Legislative Committee is the policy arm of the Harvard College Democrats.
We handle the debates with the Harvard Republican Club, the policy-related opinion pieces, the original research on local issues, and we have weekly discussion on issues of great importance in both local and national politics.

The result of our extensive discussions in the spring and countless hours of research during the summer and this fall, this paper is our attempt to take a look at the large picture of where our energy policy is and where it should be going. The State of Workers at Harvard
The Harvard College Democrats are committed to engaging honestly with the community around them, and to this end, the Legislative Committee did its own research for the past 2 months to answer the most basic question: Are Workers Here Happy?

Workers Rights Project
The Harvard Democrats Legislative Committee is proud to announce its first inaugural Original Research project.
Competing claims have been made in the past regarding Harvard's reputation as an employer. We want to know what various employees of Harvard truly feel about their jobs here. We want to know what they like about being a part of our community, and what major grievances they have with their employer.
