GOP VP Predictions!

I honestly have no idea who Obama will pick, but I'm willing to make a prediction on the McCain side of the equation.

I think it will be 1) Mitt Romney 2) Rob Portman or 3) John Thune.

I hope it will be Mittens! Oh, how I miss that adorable plastic exoskeleton and all of the beautiful clips that can be played and replayed about him:

A Lot of Audacity But Not Much Hope

Next up in the department of terrible politics but amazing entertainment. This video, posted by the official House Democratic Caucus Youtube account, raises the possibility of Rahm Emanuel as a potential Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate. It is pretty well done, and includes cameos by every major House Democratic Leader including Pelosi and Hoyer.

As much as I savor the hilarious possibilities of a our first four and a half fingered Vice President (Emanuel lost half of his right middle finger in a meat slicer while working at ARBY's when he was a teenager) I am glad that this is a laughable notion.
