I swear, the next Board member that goes into hysterics over OUR LAST MEETING BOO HOO HOO is gonna get one in the nose from me. Get over it, I say -- out with the old and in with the new. Nostalgia is so very bourgeois.

But yes, I am contractually obligated to point out that (since next Monday is Veterans' Day and there'll be no meeting) this will be the last general meeting presided over by the 2006-2007 Board, after which we will all be put out to pasture and replaced by some of you sprightly idealistic young'uns. As a consequence of this, our weeping President and Vice President will attempt to buy your lifelong admiration with COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF FOOD -- so I guess this thing does provide some level of utility to the Revolutionary Cause after all.

Also we'll lay out final plans for the CONVENTION, collect dues (which you are required to pay in order to be eligible to vote), and general merriment.

Committees as usual (although most of them will primarily be high-school-graduation-style yearbook-signing sessions, with that one Green Day song playing in the background. You know the one I mean.)
