The Dems' CLEANING UP POLITICS DAY was such an incredible success last time that we're going for it a third time! CLEANING UP POLITICS will entail working as many or few hours as you choose, for Dorm Crew -- proceeds going to support the Dems' campaign efforts in November. Any amount of time is helpful--you get paid over $11 an hour for your work. Please sign up below.

Fi-Com Meeting: Baking Food for Thursday Bake-Sale

Where: Winthrop E-Basement

When: Wednesday, 7:30pm to 9:30pm

We are going to bake brownies and cookies while watching a movie or playing ping-pong, and then we are going to sell them with hot chocolate the next day. A relaxing study break where we can have some fun and raise money for the Dems too! See ya there!

FiCom Meeting

We have an exciting year ahead for FiCom and it will be even better with your help and ideas!
Our motto is going to be: "Show Me the Money!"

We will have our first meeting *tomorrow,Tuesday, November 27th,* from *6-7 pm in the Winthrop JCR* (across from the Dining Hall).
We'll enjoy some food (pizza from Pinocchio's and cookies) as we discuss the following things:

* Your ideas first -- what you want to see out of me
* Fund-raising activities -- how the Dems are going to make money
with activities that bring members together and show the campus we
are active
* Director of fund-raising -- discuss the new position of
fund-raising director as the person who heads our fund-raising
activities
* Fund-raising goals -- take a look at the goals we have set out for
the next year so we can have a big impact on the 2008 election and
on campus
* The Alumni Project -- discuss how the Alumni Project works and how
members can be involved in it

It's going to be really great working with you this next year, and we are going to have some fun tomorrow. Be there!

(Please try to show up at 2.) The Dems CLEANING UP POLITICS DAY was such an unlikely incredible success last time that we're going for it again! CLEANING UP POLITICS will entail working as many or few hours as you choose, for Dorm Crew -- proceeds going to support the Dems' campaign effort for the candidate of your choice. Seriously it's more fun than you'd think. You do need to SIGN UP -- make sure to indicate, next to your name, which presidential campaign (or just the Dems in general) you want to support.

Sappy graduation songs and jokes aside -- in all seriousness, this is a REALLY important meeting and every FiCommer should be there. We are going to have a big discussion on making substantive changes to FiCom for next year, and every additional voice is appreciated. And since it's the last day of classes, I know that everyone can take a break to eat lunch."
