Please join the Harvard Democrats TOMORROW, September 28, at the Quincy
Junior Common Room to watch PRESIDENT OBAMA’s “Moving America Forward” rally
from Madison, Wisconsin, in which he’ll address the importance of student
engagement in the elections this November!
Please arrive around 5:30pm so that you’re able to get dinner and a seat
before the speech begins, which is scheduled for a 6:00pm start time!
Attendees will also have the opportunity to register to vote in
Massachusetts if they haven’t yet!
Student engagement is CRUCIAL this November. With the Tea Party becoming
more radical with each passing day, and with the stakes high in
gubernatorial races as a result of the new Census population reports,
volunteers and activists are needed now more than ever before.
What do we as Harvard College Demoocrats really think about our leadership in the White House.
We may have been duped by Obama in 2008. Time to consider that our Democratic Party has many anti-business platforms, and that by voting Democrat we may be biting the hand that feeds us. Most students are trying to get an education so they can get a job in the business sector. My discussion with business leaders is they’re not hiring because of the policies of Obama and his Democrats. Business has the money to hire and expand at this very moment, but won’t do so with the many anti-business policies in place or about to be put in place if Democrats win again. Something to think about.
